Technique: Ink and pencil on thin vellum, mounted on worked over card with gouache.
Measurement: 71 x 66cm.
Notation: Inscribed, monogrammed, inscribed, dated and denoted lower left: Ent: RM (lig., artist's signet) SCHMELZ 1921 - the studio-drawing from Weimar for the trade fair in Ffm. As well as inscribed lower right: O.E. Sutter zur Vorlage f. d. M.


Condition:
Vellum slightly discoloured, occasional minimal brown stains, occasionally minimally wavy due to mounting, occasional minimal stainings, minimally raised paper at the corners; occasional traces of opaque white, probably original repairs (vellum probably formerly white). Card minimally bent, minimally stained, occasional slight creases, occasional slight rubbings (some with minor material loss), slight rubbings at the edges, creases in the lower two corners, occasional minimal discoloured stains, white rubbing in the centre of the right margin (formerly repaired?). Verso brown stains, traces of old mounting and minimal staining. Otherwise in good condition.
