Goldscheider, Friedrich. Vienna. Form ca. 1928-41. Design Stephan Dakon, ca. 1928/29.
Ceramic with colour paint under glaze decor. Dancer Rita Zabekow in a close-fitting costume with matching bonnet, on a flat vaulted
pedestal with bevelled corners. At her feet two masks and in her right a further smaller
mask. Height 41.5cm.
Embossed 5864 (model-no.), 65, 14 and 4K. Manufactory mark stamped in black , Made in Austria, hand - decorated. Signets MR2, DH, L in black resp. blue. On plinth top inscribed 'Dako'. Condition C.
