CHARLES II SILVER SPOON.
Taunton. Dated 1683.

Silver. Long oval bowl with rat tail. Flat handle with broadened, serpentine finish. On its
obverse side and on the backside of the bowl flatly reliefed tendril decor. On the
backside engraved owner's monogram and date: 'PS / 1683 / IB'. Ca. 40g. Length 18.6cm.

Inspection mark Taunton, 2 marks in flower shape. Condition A.

Provenance:
Collection Frank Lynder, Berlin. Bought April 1982 from Schepers-Bruens, Münster.
