Paris. Ca. 1810. The design ascribed to Jean-André Reich. Seller signature Chambelain à Rheims.

Marble base. Gilded bronze. Enamel dial. Stepped base. As front relief Cupid with a telescope. On the case Urania seated with a
compass at a celestial globe. Roman numerals and Arabic minutes. Pendulum movement with
thread suspension and half-hour chime on a bell. Height 44cm.
The dial inscribed Chambelain à Rheims.
Condition C. Partly strongly rubbed. P.
