Silver. Each long oval bowl. The roundly finishing handle once with central ridge on the topside. Ca. 54g / 10g. Length 20cm / 12.5cm.

a) Inspection mark London substantially worn, maker's mark James Willis (ca. 1732-1735, Grimwade no.1739). b) Inspection mark London 1784, maker's mark George Smith II (from 1771, Grimwade no.898). Condition A/B.

Provenance:
Collection Frank Lynder, Berlin. The George II spoon bought from the legendary Jane Penrice How, so called 'Queen of Spoons', St. James Street, London, December 1980
