LARGE PORTAL PENDULUM CLOCK MADE OUT OF WHITE MARBLE AND GILDED BRONZE.
Paris. Ca. 1780. Jacques Mauduit.

White marble with gilded bronze applications and Wedgwood-plaques. Enamel dial. Portico with baluster-shaped supports. Urn finial. Round dial with Arabic hours, minutes
and central date display. Large flattened pendulum movement with thread suspension and
half-hour chime on a bell. Height 76cm.
Inscribed on the dial Mauduit A PARIS.
Condition B. P/S.
