Paris. Ca. 1760. Pierre Gille l'aine.

Case veneered with rosewood. Gilded bronze applications. Enamel cartouches. Serpentine console decorated with female mascarons. High rectangular, scalloped case with
rich applications. As finial Genius with trombone. Rectangular pendulum mechanism with
verge movement, thread suspension and half-hour chime on a bell on top. Height in total 106cm.
The movement inscribed on the back plate GILLE L'AINE A PARIS.
Condition C. P/S.
