"The Plunderer's Dream" developed from Polskas' polish grandfather's dreams and stories who seachrched the area for abandoned houses for food and valuables out of need in the post-war years. In dreamly animated sequences the artist recalls these memories and plays with the steriotypes of the idea of a master thief as well as the images of concealment and disclosure, aquisition and revaluation. The word "Plünderung" (plunder) acts here as metaphor to illustrate her family's story and the core of her own creation porcess.
Enclosed is a signed authenticity certificate of the artist.
