"Römische Campagna": label with inscription as well as artist's estate stamp.
"Bei Rosenheim (Bayern)": Handwritten inscription, artist's estate stamp as well as remnant of a label. Another label on the back of the canvas.

Condition:
"Römische Campagna": Painting area stained, minimal paint loss in the upper centre. Bright paint spots inherent to the work as well as holes from drawing-board pins along the sheet edges and fraying canvas fibres at the top and right.
"Bei Rosenheim (Bayern)": Stained and wavy painting area. Slightly fraying and creased resp. torn painting support in the corners. In addition, the painting area is bridged, which is especially visible in the centre. Minimal loss of colour on the right side of the painting.
