EXCEPTIONALLY LARGE, PARTIALLY GILT SILVER TANKARD WITH GILT INTERIOR, BALL FEET AND HEART-SHAPED LOBES.

Augsburg.
Date: 1665-1669.
Maker/Designer: Daniel Amende.
Technique: Partially gilt silver with gilt interior.
Description: Cup-shaped body on three large ball feet, decorated all around with heart-shaped lobes and
stepped rim. The hooded lid designed accordingly.
Weight: Approx. 860g.
Measurement: Height 24cm, ø 14cm.
Mark: Marked on bottom and lid: Inspection mark Augsburg 1665-1669 (Seling no.670), test mark, maker's mark Daniel Amende (1650-1686, ibid. no.1556).
