BASIN, SO-CALLED SILAPCHI.

Origin: India.
Date: 18th/19th century.
Technique: Bidriware.
Description: The flattened baluster-shaped body merging into a wide-spreading transverse-rectangular,
basin-shaped rim. In the center an openwork lid with knob. Silver inlays in the shapes of
flowers and geometric patterns on all sides.
Measurement: 12x31x26cm.
