Bayreuth.
Date: Ca. 1750.
Technique: Lime carved and polychromed and gold-plated. Grey-marbled Scagliola board.
Description: On two movable feet with C-shaped curves, connected by a pierced C-shaped curve. Delicate
apron pierced by rocailles with scalloped profiled Scagliola board.
Measurement: Approx. 81x57x41cm.

Provenance:
Private collection Bavaria, acquired Härtl Kunsthandel, Bamberg.

Literature:
Kreisel, Heinrich: Die Kunst des Deutschen Möbels, volume 2, Munich 1970. A pair of very comparable console tables by Ignaz Günter at Schloß Sünching in the Oberpfalz depicted and described ill. no. 456.
