Date: Dated 1696.
Maker/Designer: Gerdt Eimbke III.
Technique: Silver.
Description: Sixfold curved foot with angular shaped middle and orrespondingly shaped shaft. Slightly
compressed odus with engraved circular shapes. Small, smooth bowl with slightly flaring
rim. Apostle's cross engraved on the upper side of the foot. On the bowl alliance coats
of arms, each with crest. On the shield a flying phoenix or 3 helebards.
Weight: 214g.
Measurement: Height 14cm.
Mark: Inspection mark Braunschweig (Scheffler Lower Saxony No.95), maker's mark Gerdt Eimbke III (from 1674/75 to 1703, ibid. no.98).
Year engraved on the bottom of the foot: Ao 1696.

Provenance:
