CENSER WITH STAMPED PATTERNS.

Origin: China or Japan.
Date: 18th-19th c.
Technique: Ivory colored stoneware, covered with finely crazed, transparent glaze. Gold lacquer repairs.
Description: Censer: Cylindrical with offset square lip, on the wall relief lines. The three feet cut and polished. H.9.5cm, Ø 14cm. Matching carved wooden base.
Vase: In the upper and lower part each with banana leafs engraved in fine lines. H.17.7cm, Ø 13.5cm.
Condition B/C. Supplement: Small oval vase with wicker pattern and two small handles (one missing). Stoneware with creme colored glaze. China. H.11cm, w.11cm. Cracks.


Provenance:
Collection Dr. Franz Haniel (1883-1965), since then bequest of the family estate.
