Description: This fascinating bracelet made of gold, turquoise, enamel and diamonds knows how to surprise. The centrepiece is an artfully crafted, round element in the Etruscan Revival style, which can be removed and worn as a brooch with the enclosed accessories. However, the brooch only fits to a limited extent - an indication that the elements were probably joined together later (mariage).
The elaborately crafted surface conceals a central medallion-shaped piece with the heraldic monogram 'GREV'. Its shape and appearance is reminiscent of German Biedermeier work. The bracelet itself is designed as an elegant belt buckle and is individually adjustable - a sophisticated detail that skilfully combines historical reference and functional design.
Condition: in good, worn condition in relation to its age, traces of wear in the form of
minor to major scratches. Turquoise-coloured enamel partially damaged. Gold bracelet
slightly oxidised. One end of the brooch does not fit the centrepiece.
