Description: Medal commemorating the arrival of the Salzburg emigrants. The front with the depiction of
Salzburg Protestants leaving their hometown. Reverse depicting Frederick William I
welcoming the emigrants in Prussia. The inside with maps showing the Archbishopric of
Salzburg and the Kingdom of Prussia. Enclosed are 17 interconnected colored copper
engravings depicting religious life in the Salzburg region. Arranged around the depiction
of Christ as the good shepherd in the centre.
Measurement: Medal: ø 4,5cm. Frame: 38,5x32,5cm.
