Title: "O.-Konfektbild".
Date: Around 1970-75.
Technique: Stanniol-wrapped chocolate figures and cold glue, pressed on canvas, reworked with oil paint, in object box.
Measurement: 43 x 52,5 x 4,5cm.
Notation: Titled lower centre: O.-Konfektbild. Next to it illegibly inscribed.
Condition:
Minimal, age-related material chipping of the chocolate (presumably from the lower right part of the picture). These as loose particles in the object box. Typical browning of the material due to ageing. Otherwise the work is in good condition.
Provenance:
- Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia (received directly from the artist).
A written confirmation of the work is available by e-mail from Dr. Dirk Dobke, Dieter Roth Foundation Hamburg, dated 13 September 2021.
