ENAMEL-GEMSTONE-PENDANT.
Date: Neo-Renaissance.
Material: 333/- yellow gold, tested, partially base metal, gold-plated and polychromous enamel.
Total Weight: ca. 22,5 g.
Measurement: Ca. 9,7 x 4,7 cm.
Gemstones: 9 rectangular, faceted gemstones, presumably emerald and garnet ca. 3,9 - 4,7 x 3,3 - 3,8 mm.
Organic Matter: 5 pear-shaped pearls ca. 7,2 - 8,9 x 5,5 - 6,6 mm, white.
Description: Worked as delicately symmetrically pierced pendant on triple chain necklace. In the centre
an angel with a bow can be seen, presumably a depiction of the God Eros also known as
Cupid.
Condition: according to age in good worn condition, partially clear traces of wear in the
form of minor to major scratches. Enamel chipped and provisionally repaired in places.
Angel defective at the feet, the neck and the hand. Gold slightly oxidised.
