Frame/Pedestal: Craftman's frame.
Signed on the right below the etching: EL Kirchner. Here inscribed on the left: Eigendruck. Partly illegibly inscribed along the lower sheet edge: Zwei Mädchen am Waldesrand 21.
Verso is a part print of the stamp of Kunsthalle Hamburg and beside this the handwritten numbering: 1924/335.
This etching is one of three proofs in green of the second state. A further five prints of this state are known in the brown colour variation as well as a proof in the colour variation of the first state.
