EXTRAORDINARY LIDDED GOBLET.

Technique: Partially gilt and gilt silver.
Description: Sixfoil base with fine strapwork relief and slender baluster stem. The elongated,
double-layered cup with fine openwork lattice decorated with strapwork, blossoms and
scallop ornaments. The correspondingly crafted lid with a cone knob on an acanthus leaf.
Weight: Ca. 415g.
Measurement: Height 29cm.
Mark: Cup and lid marked: Inspection mark Kiev 1735-74 (Goldberg no.292), 12, maker's mark Fedor Levitsky (1749-57, ibid. no.336).
