LARGE IRON BEAM BALANCE.

Flanders or Holland.
Date: Early 18th c.
Technique: Iron forged and cut.
Description: The two identical, flattened beams on the outer sides feature carved geometric decor and
are finished with attached balusters with hook mountings. The suspension is openwork and
shaped with measuring needles in twisted tips.
Measurement: Height 54cm, Width 73cm.

Provenance:
- Nessi Collection, Koller Auction Zurich, 2nd April 2012, lot 545.
- Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia. On loan to the Deutschen Schloss- und Beschlägemuseum Velbert from 2011 to 2025.
