Title: Mixed lot of two drawings: Character study on "Chioggia" and character study of a sitting girl.
A) Character study on the painting "Markt in Chioggia".
Pencil drawing on brown paper. At the upper edge verso mounted in mat with tape. 26 x 27,4cm. Signed by a hand other than that of the artist on lower left, work number on lower right.
Condition: Sheet slightly discoloured with circumferential light-edge as well as staining in spots.
B) Character study of a sitting girl (Emma Gärtner).
Pencil drawing on beige paper, backed on verso with strong paper. At the upper edge verso mounted in mat with tape. 26 x 26,6cm. Signed lower left, inscribed and dated lower right.
Condition: Sheet discoloured, stained in spots and with traces of handling. Backed tears on verso at the right edge and at the bottom centre. In the upper right corner hole from a drawing board pin.
