FIVE PIECE COFFEE AND TEA SET.
Jensen, Georg. Kopenhagen.
Date: 1925-32 and after 1930.
Maker/Designer: Model Georg Jensen, around 1906.
Technique: Silver. Wooden handles.
Description: Consisting of coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, creamer and small water jug. The bodies of
all pieces with martellé decor. The bulbous bodies on the upper part with one indent. The
side handles each with pearl ornaments.
Weight: Ca. 595g.
Measurement: Height 17/13,5/6/6/10,5cm.
Mark: Coffee pot, milk jug & sugar bowl: fineness Sterling, Denmark, oval maker's mark with crown (1925-32), maker's mark with fineness 925S, model no.1 and 1B.
Teapot & water jug: fineness sterling, Denmark, oval maker's mark (after 1930), model no. 1A.
