LARGE CUTLERY SET 'ACORN'.

Jensen, Georg. Kopenhagen.

Date: After 1945.
Maker/Designer: Model Johann Rhode 1915-17.
Technique: Silver. The knife blades mainly steel.
Description: The flat handle elongated and sligtly curved, ending in pine cones with volutes.
Total of 72 pieces. Consisting of:
6 soup spoons
6 starter forks
6 starter spoons
6 starter knives
6 dinner forks
6 dinner knives
6 fish knives
6 fish forks
6 coffee spoons
6 pastry forks
1 sauce ladle
1 butter knife
2 small meat forks
1 large meat fork
1 cake lifter
2 pastry tongs
1 sugar tongs
2 serving spoons
1 serving fork.
Weight: Ca. 2700 (excluding the knives with steel blades)g.
Mark: Sterling, Denmark, maker's mark in oval (after 1945).
