Notation: Artist's signet on the back of the plinth. Foundry mark on the backside of the plinth: RICH. BARTH.
The bronze sculpture is one of five copies. For decades it was in the possession of the former director of the Hamburger Kunsthalle, Dr. Alfred Hentzen.
