Technique: Hammered down nail and white paint on canvas. On wood, incised.
Measurement: 72.5 x 63 x 6.5cm.
Notation: Signed and dated lower right: Uecker '81.
The work is a cover element of a multiple that was created in collboration with the Swiss photographer Rolf Schroeter. The multiple was published in three versions. The wooden case with 22 photographs that have been edited by Günther Uecker and one text sheet is missing.
This work is registered under number GU.81.123.3 at the Uecker Archive and will be noted for the inclusion in the Uecker-catalogue-raisonné taht is being created.
