Technique: Charcoal on thin vellum.
Measurement: 30 x 36cm.
Notation: Monogrammed and dated lower right: HMP (ligated) 1930.
Frame/Pedestal: Framed.

Provenance:
- Maison Bernard, Caracas
- Private collection, South America/Germany (acquired from previous owner in 1977)

- Charcoal drawing created in the Polish fishing and seaside resort of Rowe, where Pechstein sometimes spent his summers
- The artist repeatedly incorporated the motif of working fishermen into his paintings and drawings
- In private ownership for almost 50 years
