HISTORICAL GEMSTONE-BROOCH.
Origin: Presumably England.
Date: Ca. 1860.
Material: 585/- yellow gold, tested.
Total Weight: ca. 10,0 g.
Measurement: 7,0 x 4,0 cm.
Gemstones: 5 oval, faceted citrines in total ca. 9.2 carats, 5 rectangular-oval, faceted, light blue coloured stones, probably quartz Ø ca. 2,2 - 2,6 mm.
Description: Made of foam gold and richly engraved and decorated. Lower part can be detached.
The proceeds will go to a charitable foundation.
Condition: In good overall condition for its age. The gold is oxidised and tarnished in
many places. The pin may have been replaced. Citrine in very good condition, with minor
abrasions on the facet edges in a few places, light blue coloured stones with tiny chips.
