Measurement: 77 x 54cm.
Notation: Signed and dated lower left: Jean Leppien 52. Also monogrammed and dated, equipped with work number on verso: JL 5/52 XXXV.
Frame/Pedestal: Framed (84 x 61cm).
Condition:
Small areas of paint loss at the edges, above the nail heads (due to mounting). Slight craquelure in the impasto areas. Slightly stained painting surface. Occasional slight rubbings at the edges, especially at the top right edge. No retouchings or overpaintings visible under ultraviolet light. Otherwise in good condition. The work was not unframed for the catalogue description.
