Technique: Linocut on painted canvas.
Measurement: 120 x 100cm.
Notation: Signed and dated lower left: Immendorff 91.
Frame/Pedestal: Framed (130 x 110cm).
Condition:
Slight canvas tension (occasionally the stretcher presses through minimally). Minimal dust deposits. Otherwise very good condition. Not examined out of the frame.
Literature:
- Geuer, Dirk (ed.): Jörg Immendorff - Das grafische Werk, Düsseldorf 2006, cat. rais. no. 1990.5, different coloured works on canvas are mentioned here, but not explicitly from 1991. The motif (the two gentlemen at the table) was modified in different ways in the portfolio "Long March on Eagle" from 1991, see cat. rais. no. 1991.1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.6.
