EQUATORIAL POCKET SUNDIAL.

Martin, Johann. Augsburg 1642 - 1721

Date: Around 1700.
Technique: Gilt and engraved brass, iron.
Description: Octagonal base on three small feet with embedded compass box. Hinged hour ring and folding
plummet. On the back list with pole heights of various cities.
Measurement: Width 4,6cm.
Mark: On the front inscr. "Johann Martin in Augspurg 48".

Provenance:
Private collection Mannheim.
