LARGE MUSIC CABINET.
Olbricht, Josef Maria. 1867 - 1908.
Date: Around 1905.
Technique: Ash burl, sycamore, elm, partly ebonized, mother-of-pearl inlays.
Description: On footed, rectangular base an almost square-shaped rear wall. In front of it a
transverse-rectangular cabinet section on high, squared columns, these at the top with
stylized capitals. Cabinet section with three-section front and two compartments as well
as three shallow drawers and a shelf. Central a plastic ornament with canopy design and
mother-of-pearl inlays. The latter also on the very slender columns supporting the flat
top panel.
Measurement: 164x161x54cm.
