Title: Magnetischer Abfall (Magnetische Postkarte).
Date: 1975.
Technique: Magnet stamped with "Hauptstrom" on tooled sheet iron. Framed.
Measurement: 10,5 x 15 x 0,5cm.
Notation: Signed (with graphite on the sheet metal).
Publisher: Edition Staeck, Heidelberg (publisher).
Frame/Pedestal: Framed (26 x 32,5 x 3cm).
Condition:
Magnet corroded. Sheet iron distinctly corroded on both sides. Finger prints. Otherwise good condition. Not examined out of the frame.
Verso with typographic details on the work and publisher. From an edition size of 80 copies numbered on an enclosed cardboard box. Cardboard box is missing here.Trying to produce a magnetic post card, it was noticed that sheet iron that can be tooled cannot be magnitized, hence the name "Magnetischer Abfall".
