An old label with the number 657. Possibly an exhibition label of the Kölnischer Kunstverein (NDCKV).
Condition:
Painting area slightly stained and slightly dusty. Under the old yellowed, fluorescent varnish no work-over is visible. Only at the edges of the canvas around the stretcher there are visible paint chippings, otherwise largely original condition with old craquellée.
