The catalogue raisonné of the works of Karl Fred Dahmen (1917-1981) presents the complete oeuvre of this important post-war artist for the first time in two volumes of 1,192 pages with 1,637 works. The chronological listing of all the works not only shows the development of his artistic work, but also illustrates the complexity and artistic substance of his oeuvre. The early abstract compositions from the 1950s, the informal paintings created between 1955 and 1964, the object boxes and material pictures of the 1960s and 1970s as well as his later furrowed pictures convey in a complex and convincing way how Karl Fred Dahmen transformed an inspiring landscape and environment into a new artistic world view.
Since 2013, VAN HAM Art Estate manages the artistic and written estate of the German artist Karl Fred Dahmen. The oeuvre catalogue can be purchased through VAN HAM Art Publications. The works of art designated in the catalogue raisonné as the "Nachlass K.F. Dahmen" are managed by VAN HAM Art Estate.
