1917 Stolberg - 1981 Preinersdorf
Title: Untitled.
Date: 1955.
Technique: Mixed media on vellum, laid down on wooden panel. Mounted on a wooden panel covered with jute.
Measurement: 46 x 63cm. Jute panel: 68 x 83cm.
Notation: Signed and dated lower centre: Dahmen / 55. As well as inscribed (verso by a hand other than that of the artist?) K. F. DAHMEN KOMPOSITION 1954.
Condition:
Minimal rubbing in places to the surface and to the edges with small losses of material (from ca. 0,1 x 0,1cm to ca. 0,4 x 0,4cm). Verso firmly mounted on the jute-covered panel. The jute has several holes, traces of glue and slight stainings. Otherwise in good condition.
