Condition:
Occasional minimal foxing and traces of handling. Two slight horizontal and two slight punctual creases. Minimally stained upper edge. Verso occasional minimal staining and minimal foxing. Otherwise good condition.
Verso equipped with the artist's estate stamp and the signature of Elisabeth Hofer.

- Rathenau, Ernest (ed.): Karl Hofer - Das graphische Werk, Stuttgart 1991 (reprint from 1969), cat. rais. no. 125, here stated with an edition of 20 copies as an annual gift for the Karl Hofer Society.
In 2008, VAN HAM Art Publications published the three-volume catalogue raisonné of Karl Hofer's paintings, compiled by Karl Bernhard Wohlert. In 2012, VAN HAM Art Publications founded the Karl Hofer Committee and in 2015 VAN HAM Art Publications presented the catalogue raisonné of the sketchbooks.
