In the summer of 2012, VAN HAM Art Publications founded the Karl Hofer Committee. With Dr. Felix Krämer (General Director of the Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf), Börries Brakebusch (certified restorer) and Daniela Maier (Director of the Museum Schloss Ettlingen) – following the departure of Prof. Dr. Dr. Gerd Presler in March 2024 – three independent experts from different fields are continuing the research and expert work of Karl Bernhard Wohlert in order to be able to adequately answer all questions regarding the works of Karl Hofer in the future.
