Notation: Monogrammed below the depiction right: CH. Verso: stamp of the estate. Drei Hunde (?); Kohlezeichnung (WVZ-Nr. 2167)
Frame/Pedestal: Mat.
Condition:
Sheet minimally foxed. Yellowish discolouration in the central part. Recto and verso remains of an old mounting in the upper corners.

In 2008, VAN HAM Art Publications publishes the three-volume catalogue raisonné of Karl Hofer's paintings, compiled by Karl Bernhard Wohlert. In 2012, VAN HAM Art Publications founds the Karl Hofer Committee, and in 2015 VAN HAM Art Publications presents the catalogue raisonné of sketchbooks.
For inclusion in the unpublished catalog raisonné of Karl Hofer's works on paper, the artowkr would have to be presented in original to the Karl Hofer Committee on March 31, 2022.
