The watercolour is documented in the archive of the Karl and Emy Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation, Berlin.
The work is accompanied by a painting with the same motif, entitled "Mond im Fenster", 1933, which was part of the exhibition "Abstrakte Welten - Zwischen Expressionismus und Konstruktivismus" 2020, at the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen am Rhein.
