Condition:
The multiple is in very good condition.
A collaboration between Katharina Grosse and the Working Group on Retrograde Strategies. Stamped by the Working Group Retrograde Strategies. The handwritten numbering refers to the edition of 300 and the typographic numbering on the label to the edition of 50. The work is accompanied by a leaflet that describes the process of creating the artwork. Only 50 of the 300 copies have been issued with a signed label.
The series is based on a work of art that Katharina Grosse created in 2001 in the Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin, a wall painted and sprayed on both sides with a side length of 12.5 x 14.5m. The work was deconstructed by the Retrograde Strategies working group together with students from the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee and reworked into multiples in the form of head and reading aids.
