KPM. Berlin.

Maker/Designer: Model after Johann Carl Friedrich Riese, 1805.
Technique: Porcelain, no staffage.
Description: The bust shows a porcelain version of the plaster design by J.C.F Riese, which was lost
during the Second World War: Frederick the Great is depicted with sharp features
characterised by age and a piercing gaze. Dressed in uniform and with the star of the
Order of the Black Eagle, as well as stroat drapery.
Measurement: Height 54cm.
Mark: Sceptre mark, indistinct.
