Maker/Designer: After a painting by the Czech painter Emanuel Krescenc Liska (1852-1903) from 1883.
Technique: Porcelain, painted with colours.
Description: On rectangular panel desert scenery with red sky, coloured by the evening sun.
Hagar with folded hands, her gaze lifted pleading towards the sky, next to her dying son Ismael. Besides her a walking stick and a calabash bottle.
Measurement: Panel 34,5x20,5cm. Frame 40x54cm.
Mark: Scepter mark stamped as well as severall pressed or carved signs. On verso inscribed "C A Römhild Grossbreitenbach (Thüringen)" and "Made in Germany". On the lower right front corner n. E.K. Liska.
