LARGE RELIEF WITH SCHOLARS IN A LANDSCAPE.

Technique: Green jade, finely carved and polished.
Description: On a rocky plateau under an overhangin cliff, two scholars are sitting facing each other
at a board of go (weiqi). Leaning on the trunk of one of the large pines, another
gentleman watches. A scholar accompanied by a servant boy stands some distance away,
gazing out at the expanse of the sea. The back of the plate with rocks.
Measurement: Weight ca. 5.36kg, height 21cm, width 34cm, thickness approx. 4cm.
