The former blue colour areas have faded.

The work is registered at the Fondation Le Corbusier, Paris, under the number 396.

This work is a typical depiction from a series of drawings by Le Corbusier showing women at work (or resting) in a holiday home in Le Piquey in the Bay of Arcachon. A comparable work can be found in the collection of the Centre Georges Pompidou (cf. Le Corbusier "Esquisse pour un 'Mural'" 1933, www.centrepompidou.fr).
