MEIPING VASE WITH DRAGONS IN CLOUDS.

Origin: China.
Technique: Porcelain painted with blue and copper red under a transparent glaze. Background with light turquoise green glaze.
Description: The vase in meiping shape with wide neck and slightly flared mouth, on a high recessed
base ring. The revolving representation shows a rising and a sinking dragon around a
flaming pearl between stylized clouds. The foot ring is decorated with spiral waves with
foaming spray. Beneath the mouth a double ring in underglaze blue.
Measurement: H.32.5cm Ø 18cm.
Mark: Underneath turquoise green glazed. In underderglaze blue a six part Jiaqing-Marke, but probably later.


Provenance:
According to owner from a Swiss private collection. Underneath two collection labels made of paper, one with the inscription: "Jan von Dyk 59", the other: "Collection ??, B 1408 8/31".

松石綠地青花釉里紅雲龍海水紋梅瓶

高32.5cm/直徑18cm

器型梅瓶，外壁以松石綠為地，以青花繪海水、雲紋，釉里紅繪五爪雙龍戲珠，作騰空盤旋狀，氣勢磅礴。頸部內壁及圈足內亦飾松石綠釉，足心透明釉四方框內以青花書「大清嘉慶年製」三行六字寄託款。
