EXCEPTIONAL LARGE PORCELAIN BOWL WITH CH'I-LIN DECOR.

Meissen.
Date: Ca. 1740.
Technique: Porcelain, painted in colours.
Description: The flag with Sulkowski ornamental relief, on it three 'Indian' flower branches
alternating with three insects. In the mirror a flying crane, a cockchafer on a flower
branch and the winged mythical creature Qilin.
Measurement: ø 42cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. Former's mark and incised mark 'V'.
