- Rafael, Johannes: Paul Scheurich's (1883-1945) Porzellane für die Meissener Manufaktur, Meissen 1995, p. 32-33.
Paul Scheurich's figural models, despite historicizing motifs and a rococo-like grace, struck a chord with the 20th century audience. In the pendulum clock, which was first molded in bronze in 1915 and finally in porcelain in 1919, he took up the motiv of the baroque putto. It enjoyed great popularity with the customers of the Meissen manufactory.
