LARGE PORCELAIN ENSEMBLE "DIE ANNÄHERUNG".

Date: 19th c.
Maker/Designer: Model J. C. Schoenheit.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours.
Description: On a round base with acanthus frieze, a group of two boys and a young lady at an
antique-style column. The young man on the left kneels at an angle behind the column and
presents his cocked hat. Two lovebirds are sitting on it. On the right, the other young
man touches the lady standing in the centre by the hips. She turns away as if she wants to
escape the approach.
Measurement: Height 30,5cm.
Mark: Sowrds mark, painted blue under glaze. Model number I60, former's number 163, painter's number T7.
