LARGE PORCELAIN TOP BOWL WITH DANCING COUPLE ON PLINTH.

Meissen.
Date: End of 19th c.
Maker/Designer: Model E.A. Leuteritz.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours, decorated in gold.
Description: Stem-like shaft on a rising circular base with rocailles, ending in palmettes. A young
couple running around the shaft. Basket-like openwork bowl with applied flowers resting on
the palmettes. The base on four rocaille feet with a rich floral overlay.
Measurement: Height including plinth 57,5cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze, embossing number: 135/78, painter's number 21, model number 2772.
